I would’ve thought it! Christmas Eve is the busiest shopping day of the year! Plus lots of folks are out and about going to homes and events and what-not. I’d expect the roads to be packed.
Oh goodness, I keep thinking about you when I read about all the snow that is still getting dumped on W. Europe. I hope since you went to Switzerlad that they are accustomed to it and you aren’t having too many headaches. Fingers crossed!
Turns out there were no problems with snow until we got to the US. It did snow quite heavily the day before we left to Zürich, but it didnt cause us any issues.
