Praying mantis nymph? Or something else?

  1. Praying mantis would be my guess, too. But what about the curly tail? Do you suppose it stings? I am guessing he would be about 1.5 inches long?

  2. It is definitely a praying mantis. They mimic ants when they are in nymph stage. We have an eggs sac from a praying mantis on the window (did you see it on the big window when you were here? We thought it was poop!). It must have hatched. We saw one in the front yesterday and one in the back garden. I must look for more!
