We saw a large one lay an egg sac on the window a while back. We found another egg sac later in the front garden. It wasn’t long until we found a couple of praying mantis nymphs crawling around. They mimic ants at that stage. Sofia went to get on her scooter the other day and asked us to help her because there was a funny leaf in her way–another praying mantis in a later stage. We watched it shed a layer of skin. I should do an entire post about this one day. I am surprised we found a surviving one due to pesticides. You can’t just kill the cockroaches! In our tiny back garden we see a surprising variety of things. Another post!
