We took a taxi from our hotel to Yasaka Shrine (八坂神社) in the eastern part of the city. Although it was Saturday night the roads were pretty packed and it took a while to get there.
The shrine was started in the eighth century and had been remodeled and expanded over the centuries.
Whilst there we took a look around and posed for a few photo opportunities with girls wearing traditional clothing. After that, it was time to head for our dinner that the hotel booked for us.
Sorry there is no picture of the shrine and the girls in traditional dress (geisha style?)
