Breakfast at Milestones

Posted on 25 September, 2015 by Thomas Henriksen

Went to Milestones in North Vancouver for breakfast.  Nice brekkie and a good way to start the day. Tracey was especially tired since she didn’t sleep on the long flight from Sydney.

AC34 Sydney-Vancouver

Posted on 24 September, 2015 by Thomas Henriksen

To kick off our September 2015 holiday we started out with Air Canada flight 34 to Vancouver. Covering nearly 8000 miles in 15 hours, it’s an ultra long haul but went fairly quickly. For me anyway. I slept for seven hours or so but Tracey didn’t get a wink.

Self-guided tour. We were the only ones in the cave. Brilliant!

We took a day trip down to Mittagong. Lovely lunch at The Shaggy Cow. Yum. Then a drive up the Mount Gibraltar road. We walked down to the Jellore Lookout.

Sófia: Alex, the sign says ‘beware, cliff edge.’
Alex: I’m already being ware.

Left a rainy Sydney and arrived in a hazy Singapore. Not a bad flight! Seafood thermidor was good. Longer flight than usual due to jet stream.
