The Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple were so beautiful that I had to share a few more shots from the day.
Selection of photos from the Grand Palace in Bangkok. Alex and Sofia seemed to be part of the attractions at the Grand Palace. Two little blond, white children… They were repeatedly accosted for photos, tapped on the head, tickled under the chin, smiled at and people stopped to stare at them. Sofia was loving it but Alex, my shy boy, had enough and started hiding from people.
Our hotel, the Novotel, was out by the airport so we needed transport to take us to Bangkok. The kids were tired for obvious reasons and, as usual, it was warm and humid (although felt cooler for a day in Bangkok). We hired a taxi to take us and bring us back. Here we are ready to go.
Here we are about to depart on a trip around the world in just over three weeks. First flight is Sydney to Bangkok. One night in Bangkok (makes a hard man humble) and then two more flights from Bangkok to Zürich to Manchester and a drive to East Yorkshire.
More to come…
